Tender Masculinity by Jules Bekuti

Parisian artist, Jules Bekuti, paints portraits that celebrate masculinity in a way few have seen before. Thoughtfulness, tenderness and quiet strength permeate through his portraits of Black boys and men.

The African artist explores these themes through pastel colours, playful fruit print that symbolises gentle growth, and a sense of serenity that shows that each boy and man looking out at us from the canvas is utterly secure in themselves.
