Stories in Colour by Sarfo Annor
Ghanian photographer, Sarfo Emmanuel Annor, tells stories about local children in Koforidua, Ghana. Sarfo uses brilliant colours in each portrait, creating a sense of vivid optimism that runs through his tales.
This tale paints a colourful picture of children who are exploring their creativity through fashion - or put more playfully - through dress up. Sarfo’s portraits feature these children either posing with confidence, or engaged in an activity that is obviously productive e.g., going to school.
Each child is also depicted with the darkest of skins. An clear celebration of melanin that you just can’t miss.
