The Human Condition by Olaitan

Nigerian artist, Akinola Taoheed Olaitan, uses his art to reflect about the human condition. The fine artist uses ‘life’ as his central theme, with his portraits depicting people who are as real as you and I.

Each subject is the sum of their lived experiences - experiences that make them grow, make them stronger, make them reflective. Akinola’s signature Black skin with red lips and multicolored hair celebrates pride in being Black, beauty and desirability, and an individuality that lives in harmony with the community.
