Human Lines by Warren Stylez Harry
African-American painter, Warren ‘Stylez’ Harry, uses colourful portraiture to describe the many faces of humanity. His signature style sees each subject as a sum of different parts, demarcated by acrylic lines across their entire bodies - almost implying that they have been healed, albeit scarred, by life perhaps. Where many artists draw the Black person with glowing pride in their skin, Stylez represents them in a myriad of colours that speak to the many experiences that both crack and mend them.
