Black and Confident with Amanda Whitehurst

American artist, Amanda Howell Whitehurst, truly differentiates with her digital art which she creates in a vintage comics style that invites us to indulge in sweet nostalgia. She creates scenes from pop culture - influential musicians like Ashanti, and movies that captured all our hearts with wholesome Black Love like Love Jones, Boomerang and Coming To America. But even more importantly, she uses her pop art to describe strong, confident Black women who are living and loving unapologetically, and who obviously believe in themselves. We love it.
